Size Guide Help- Trousers & Dungarees

This guide is to help you chose the right size trousers or dungarees for your little one.

This is Livy, she is nearly 5 years old.

108cm - Height.

49cm - Inside Leg (Inseam).

She is the average height for a 5 year old but has more of a slim build.

Liv currently wears the age 4-5 years trousers, however she can also fit into the next size up with some scrunching up.

Top Tip: Remember to put the cuff of the ankle OVER the wellies so the water runs onto the floor and does not go inside the wellies

Inside Leg - Trousers & Dungarees Measurement.

This is a measurement we always recommend when it comes to Dungarees, Trousers and the All in Ones. All you need to do is measure from the crutch area down to the ankle.

These trousers are age 5-7 years and Livy is nearly 5 years old.

Although she can still fit in her old pair of 4-5 years trousers, she can get away with a room for growth as her inseam is 49cm and the inseam for the 5-7 years is 50cm.

Livy is average height for her age but is a slim build however the stretch on the waistband helps to hold the trousers up.

Alternatively a great tip to find this measurement easily, is to find a pair of trouser that currently fit your little one. Then lay them flat and measure the inside leg. This will give you the size of an inside leg that fit your child.

The Inside measurements applies to both unlined and fleece lined outerwear.

Size & Height Measurement

We always recommend trying on the waterproofs before assuming that they are too large. All of our outerwear is designed with room to play, bend and climb in mind.
